Do you ever get in your car and wish you had a trash bag because your vehicle is becoming a dumpster? Maybe I am a little odd, but I do. It seems like my car accumulates more trash than my trash can at times. Between the paper straw packages, Sweet N' Low packets, gum wrappers, and all of my daughter's trash it gets a little messy at times. So, I was searching on Pinterest (imagine that), and I found a cute idea for a DIY plastic grocery bag (trash bag) holder for the car. I thought they were awfully cute, so I had to make one myself.
Here is my process and the final results...
The before... an empty Clorox wipes bottle.
I cut the label off and used it to measure my fabric.
I purchased the fabric from Wal-Mart for around $7.00 for 2 yards
(I plan on using it for another project too).
The front and back of my fabric.
Now, time for the Mod Podge!
I created a thick layer of Mod Podge on the back side
of the fabric, covered the container, and let it sit over night.
The after... I must say, I love this fabric!!!
Now, this has inspired me to look for some organizational items for my car. Stay tuned!
Happy DIY Time,
