For those of you that know me well should know which organizing tool ranks at the top of my list. I honestly never leave home without it! I take it to work, shopping, eating, etc. We have been best friends since I was in junior high school (no joke). Still not know?!?! Drum roll, please...
I have used every kind of planner that they have sold on the market. In the beginning (my junior high days), I had a small Five Star notebook (I actually think it was mint green) with lined paper that I used as a planner. I would write the date, classes, and my daily homework on each page. It wasn't the most ideal thing, but hey, it served its purpose. Then, I moved to more detailed planners in high school and college. My favorite at the time was the Mead Upper Class planner because it gave me a monthly and daily calendar. I loved the extra space to write down assignments and notes.
Then, I graduated, got a "real" job, became a wife, and then a mommy... So, the same student planner didn't fit the needs of my new roles in life. So, after trying several planners, including the Studio C Carolinapad...
I finally found my new love (that arrived at the beginning of March)...the Erin Condren life planner. Ahhh!!!! I think we are going to be best friends for a LONG TIME!!! Her life planner is going to be my lifesaver I can already tell.
I am an individual that has to jot down everything immediately or I'll forget it. And, this planner has enough room for ALL of my sticky notes and lists.
Can't you tell by the logo that this company is SO me?!?! The bright colors, polka dots, and just plain fun look of it makes me smile. Take a look at this video that shows it all...
And, now, I am going to give you a peak inside my awesome new planner...
Isn't the shipping box cute?
The lovely contents.
A closeup of the cute labels that I ordered.
The awesome set of FREE labels that they sent with my order.
The front cover of my planner.
The back cover.
My planner is personalized with my name on the front. : )
The inside cover.
And, it has tabs!!!
Another view of the tabs.
The planner is full of positive and cheerful quotes, which I love!
One of the quotes on the notes section.
Another awesome quote.
Each month has a full calendar...
A goals and to-do section...
And, a daily calendar that is broken down into morning, day, and night. It
also includes a to-do list on the sides.
The planner even has a pocket to hold all of my coupons, notes, etc.
A little plastic zipped compartment is beside the pocket to give me extra help
with organizing paper. And, look, even more FREE labels.
The inside back cover.
And, you know me, I had to purchase cute pens specifically for
my planner!
A place for all of my important numbers.
The awesome stickers that are located in the back.
They even placed some blank stickers in there.
Overall, I feel this planner is the best sidekick for the busy, working mommies out there. I am sure you are wondering about the price... The planner is originally $50.00, but they are always having sales and promotions going on. I purchased this planner & labels for 40% off. And, in my package, they gave me a $10.00 coupon for my next purchase. It may seem a little pricey, but I think it is worth it! If you are a planner person (like me), use it all year long for everything, and love personalized accessories, then the benefits will truly outweigh the price. ; )

DeleteI LOVE my EC planner! Here's a tip from one OCD gal to another. I carry my planner around in my bag every day, and it drove me nuts that the paper tabs started to look a little weathered after only a few days. I grabbed some clear packing tape and "laminated" the tabs, and it made them so much more durable. Enjoy your new BFF!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the excellent tip. I will definitely try that. I was wondering how I was going to keep those tabs nice and neat by December. Thanks for stopping by and giving me a nice pointer! Have a great day.
