Happy Friday everyone! And, Happy Mother's Day weekend to all of the awesome moms out there. I have only been a mom for three short years, but I have learned A LOT in that time frame. Before I decided to get pregnant, I knew parenting was going to be hard, but I had no idea what all it entailed. It was one of those, "you won't understand until you fill those shoes" type of things. After I had my beautiful daughter, I quickly learned. And, at that point, I fully appreciated my mom. Before, I knew I loved my mom and appreciated all of the things that she sacrificed for me, but I still had NO IDEA. It wasn't until I held my child in my arms for the first time that I felt the deep down appreciation and love for my mother. She is definitely a hero in my eyes!
To all of the moms out there, I bow to you. For all of the sleepless nights, emotional roller coasters, days of second guessing yourself, time spent keeping things in order, and carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders... I salute you!
