This past weekend while my husband was attempting to put our desks together, he realized that we needed some screws to connect the countertop to the bases. I thought we may have a few in our nail box, but when I opened the box, this is what I saw...
Can you even tell what is in this box?!?! Well, I sure couldn't. If you look on the left, there is even a crayon in the box. WOW!!! So, at that moment, I decided our tool fasteners needed some TLC. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased a clear tackle box/storage tray for $7.96 and organized this massive pile of who-knows-what.
I found this storage tray in the hardware section of Wal-Mart with the
nails, screws, etc.

Wait... I forgot something. You know I have to put a label on it. : )
Much better!!! I believe the next time I need a nail, I will be able to find one (if I have the one I need).

Great idea! We organized all of ours when we cleaned out our basement last year. It is so nice to be able to find what we need when we need it, and not have to hunt.
