Two Days of Martha! (Day 1)

After seeing all of the blog posts online about Martha Stewart's new office accessories at Staples, I had to make it to a Staples store to see for myself. And, let me tell you, she has some very cute things for the kitchen and office. On my first visit, I was a little overwhelmed and didn't want to make any impulsive purchases, so I ended up only purchasing her adorable chalkboard labels.

A set of 12 labels costs $5.99. But, I had a 40% off coupon for a Martha Stewart item, so I ended up paying $3.60. Not too bad! I was almost out of chalkboard labels and desperately needed some more. So, it was perfect timing. For anyone that hasn't used chalkboard labels, you should really try them. Purchase a chalk pen to use because it is a lot easier to use than actual chalk. I use them to label canisters, storage boxes, bins, etc.

My second purchase was made online. If you order $45.00 worth of merchandise on Staples.com, you get free shipping. Well, I wanted to purchase some binders and accessories that were on sale, so it was the perfect time to get a few more Martha items.  I had seen them in the store now and online, so I knew what I was getting.

I will show you the first online Martha purchase I made today, and I will share the second next week. : )

The first product I bought was  The Dry Erase Weekly Planner for $4.99. Sorry about the blurry pictures. It was hard to find a good picture of the writing.

Last month, I created a printable that broke down our nightly meals for the week,  but I needed something that I could see, write on, and change very easily. Using paper and pencil isn't so easy for that sort of thing. So, I decided to try this.

Here is a look at my refrigerator before (take a look at all the papers on the fridge)... YIKES!!! That is on my list of things to do this summer.

What a mess!!!

And, here is the weekly planner that I purchased and its new location on the front of the refrigerator. Once again, excuse the photos. I couldn't find a camera setting that liked my writing. : (

A look at the whole refrigerator...

A look up close...

I hope this process works well for me and my family. I will keep everyone updated!

    1. I wish I lived closer to a Staples. There is only one place around me that has a Staples and it is an hour away. :(
